The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that a 19-year-old has been killed in a crash in LeFlore County on Wednesday.

OHP said the driver of a 2009 Nissan Sentra attempted to pass a vehicle while driving on US-270 about two miles west of Wister. They said the vehicle was unable to make it past the other car, swerved to the left, hit an embankment and rolled to rest on its roof.

19-year-old Jayden Hobbs was a passenger in the car and was killed on scene.

OHP said the driver of the car was under the influence of drugs and the weather conditions were overcast and raining.

The driver was uninjured, and a 17-year-old passenger was treated and released at the scene.
