Tulsa County District Court Suspending All In-Person Proceedings Due To Rising COVID-19 Infections

Officials announced the Tulsa County District Court is suspending all in-person proceedings due to the rising number of COVID-19 infections in Tulsa County and the surrounding areas.

Officials announced the Tulsa County District Court is suspending all in-person proceedings due to the rising number of COVID-19 infections in Tulsa County and the surrounding areas.

This will start on December 8th and go until January 11, 2021.

Officials said the “The only exceptions are emergency matters set by the assigned judge, or as otherwise authorized by this Order.”

Officials said all areas of the courthouse “occupied by judges, judicial staff, court clerks working in judicial offices, as well as courtrooms, are closed to the public during this time period with exceptions for necessary and emergency matters.”

Officials said jury trials are also suspended until Feb. 1, 2021.

The order also states that this "does not apply to any proceedings in the Family Center for Juvenile Justice, only to the Tulsa County Courthouse."
