Welling Man Dies After Vehicle Collides With Tree

A 58-year-old man died Sunday after he crashed his vehicle into a tree.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Donald Wynn's vehicle departed the roadway to the right near the intersection of Welling Road and County Road 543.

OHP determined the reasoning behind the vehicle's departure was that the car was moving "too fast for road conditions" just before noon during Sunday's snow storm.

Wynn was admitted to a hospital in Tahlequah in critical condition before he was transported to Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa.

Wynn died upon arrival at Saint Francis Hospital.
