Tulsa Police Arrest Man Accused Of Leading Officers On Chase From Tulsa To Claremore

Tulsa police on Wednesday arrested a man accused of leading officers on a chase across Tulsa that eventually ended in a crash in Claremore. Tulsa Police say it all began around 10:30 p.m. on I-44 near 33rd West Avenue when an officer ran the tag on a pickup truck and found that it was stolen. According to police, the officer called for back-up, and not long after the suspect took off.

Tulsa police on Wednesday arrested a man accused of leading officers on a chase across Tulsa that eventually ended in a crash in Claremore.

Tulsa Police say it all began around 10:30 p.m. on I-44 near 33rd West Avenue when an officer ran the tag on a pickup truck and found that it was stolen.

According to police, the officer called for back-up, and not long after the suspect took off.

Police said that the suspect led officers across Tulsa into Catoosa and eventually into Claremore.

The chase came to an end when the suspect crashed into another vehicle at an intersection in Claremore.

Police said that the suspect tried to run but officers were able to arrest him.

According to police, at least two people, who were in the car that was hit, were hurt and taken to the hospital.

The suspect was also taken to the hospital to be checked out before going to jail.

Currently, the suspect has not yet been identified by police.
