TULSA, Oklahoma -

President Joe Biden is expected to visit the Greenwood Cultural Center Tuesday as his only stop in Tulsa to commemorate the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre.

The White House said President Biden, the Secretary of Urban Housing and Development, the Domestic Policy Advisor, and the Senior Advisor will all take part in the guided tour. The Cultural Center showcases the district’s heritage through pictorial exhibits displayed in the building with an emphasis on educating the public on the events that took place 100 years ago.

President Biden is expected to deliver remarks after the tour to commemorate the centennial of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre at 3:15 p.m.

The last known living survivors of the massacre are expected to attend Tuesday's visit and meet with the president while he is in town.

News on 6 has also confirmed President Biden will meet with Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr., although that meeting is not listed on the president's public schedule.

This is the third time President Biden has been to Tulsa over the years, but the first time as a sitting president.

Team coverage of President Biden's visit will continue on News on 6 Tuesday afternoon.
