NW OKC Standoff Ends With No Injuries Reported

The person at the center of an officer-involved shooting is in custody.  The five-hour standoff at the Alora apartment complex near NW 63rd and MacArthur started around 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The person at the center of an officer-involved shooting is in custody. 

Antwon Hill was booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on complaints of felony pointing a firearm and possession of a firearm AFCF.

The five-hour standoff at the Alora apartment complex near NW 63rd and MacArthur started around 8 p.m. Wednesday. 

Police said a man came outside with a handgun when they arrived. It is unclear whether the suspect fired a shot but during an altercation one officer fired a shot at the suspect. The man then barricaded himself inside an apartment.  

Officers cleared the other residents out of the building. 

The suspect was arrested and brought to the Oklahoma County Detention Center during the early morning hours on Thursday. 

No one was injured in the incident. 

The officer who fired a shot will be placed on routine paid administrative leave.
