Health Experts Predict Further Rise In COVID-19 Cases Fueled By Omicron Variant

Former FDA commissioner Doctor Scott Gottlieb said he thinks the U.S. may start seeing Omicron case numbers peak next month. Right now, the U.S. is averaging over 350,000 new cases a day-- mostly fueled by the newest variant.

Former FDA commissioner Doctor Scott Gottlieb said he thinks the U.S. may start seeing Omicron case numbers peak next month.

Right now, the U.S. is averaging over 350,000 new cases a day-- mostly fueled by the newest variant.

Last week, almost 400 children a day were hospitalized with COVID-19.

According to the CDC, that's a 66 percent jump from the week before.
