Tulsa Police Identify 3 People Of Interest In Stolen Car Case

Tulsa Police have identified three people they want to identify and talk to, in connection to the theft of a rare 1967 Shelby Mustang GT 500. It was stolen last week near downtown and is worth more than $200,000.

Tulsa Police have identified three people they want to identify and talk to, in connection to the theft of a rare 1967 Shelby Mustang GT 500. It was stolen last week near downtown and is worth more than $200,000. 

The owner's friend tells us were starting an antique car showroom as a non-profit to support kids with cancer and thus car was a big part of that. So, they are begging for any information that gets the car back.

Detectives believe the three people in the surveillance pictures could be involved in the car theft. Police say the Shelby Mustang was stolen outside of downtown Tulsa in the Pear District on January 7th. Officers say the car has a 4-speed manual transmission and a fairly loud exhaust, with a black interior and fancy aftermarket gauges. The say it also has a sticker with a skull with the word Voodoo underneath on the rear spoiler.

The owner of the car is offering a $5,000 reward for information about who stole the car and where it is. If you have any information at all call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
