State Auditor Reflects On Epic Charter Schools Investigation

State auditor Cindy Byrd spoke out on the investigation into Epic Charter Schools.

Byrd is discussing the case after state investigators arrested the schools' co-founders and former chief financial officer Thursday. They are accused of misusing state funds.

Byrd described Epic's accusations involve the biggest abuse of taxpayer funds in state history and that the oversight failed Oklahomans.

The State Board of Education will decide whether to put the school on probation next month.
