Authorities Warning About Oversharing On Back To School Photos

As kids head back to class, police are warning against oversharing on back to school photos.

They said sharing information like a child's name, teacher, school and even showing their home or a neighbor's house could accidentally put a child in danger.

Friends lists should also be kept private to avoid tipping off predators, according to authorities.

They said parents should double-check photos before they post and make sure their kids aren't oversharing on the internet.
