Pleasant weather returns to Oklahoma for Monday and Tuesday; More rain is expected later in the week

Pleasant weather starts the week with sunshine and mild temperatures, but storms return from late Tuesday into Wednesday. An active pattern brings multiple rounds of showers, thunderstorms, and potential severe weather through the weekend.

Pleasant weather is expected today and tomorrow before showers and thunderstorms return late Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Active weather will persist through the latter half of the week and into the weekend, bringing additional rounds of showers and storms.

Heavy rainfall may develop locally by mid-to-late week. A few strong to severe storms will be possible at times.

Sunny and Mild Monday and Tuesday

Morning temperatures today will start in the 40s and 50s, warming to the mid-to-upper 70s under mostly sunny conditions. South winds will remain light at 7 to 12 mph. DMA HIGHS TODAYTuesday morning temperatures will be in the lower to mid-50s, with highs reaching the lower 80s. Mostly sunny skies will be expected for most of the day, with south winds at 10 to 15 mph.

Storms Return Late Tuesday to Wednesday

A weak upper-level disturbance will approach the area late Tuesday night into Wednesday, bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms across the region.

Wednesday morning, temperatures will start near 60 degrees, with daytime highs remaining in the mid-70s. For most of the day, the severe threats will mostly be to the west of the area.

Unsettled Weather Pattern Through the WeekendTulsa Rain 7

A series of disturbances will move through Thursday and Friday, leading to additional showers and storm chances before a cold front pushes through Friday afternoon or evening.

A stronger upper-level system is expected to impact the region during the latter half of the weekend and into the early-to-middle part of next week.

The forecast remains active and unsettled during this time, with ongoing thunderstorm chances. The threat of strong to severe storms may gradually increase as we draw closer to the weekend.

Daytime highs Friday through the weekend will be in the mid-70s, with morning lows mostly in the mid-50s to near 60.
