½ c. Miracle Whip Salad Dressing ¾ tsp. salt ¼ tsp. ground ginger Dash of pepper 2 c. chopped, cooked chicken 1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained 2 c. diced apple 1 c. grapes, red or green or mix 1 c. celery slices Lettuce ¼ c. toasted chopped walnuts
In a large bowl, combine salad dressing, salt, ginger and pepper; mix well. Add chicken, fruit and celery, mix lightly. Chill well. Serve on lettuce-lined platter; top with walnuts.Variations: When in season, use 1½ cups strawberry halves in place of diced apple. Also, try 2 cups of fresh pineapple in place of canned for even more fresh flavor. Enjoy!
