Meatball Creole

For the Meatballs:1 lb. ground beef
1 c. oatmeal
1 egg
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 tbsp. each onion powder and garlic powder

For the Sauce:
1 jar (12 oz.) chili sauce
12 oz. water
1 tbsp. each onion powder and garlic powder
For the Meatballs:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients and form into 1 to 1 ½-inch meatballs. Place meatballs on baking sheet; spray lightly with cooking spray. Bake 30 to 45 minutes or until browned.

For the Sauce:
Combine sauce ingredients in a medium saucepan. Simmer gently to desired thickness.

Putting it all Together:
When meatballs are done, add them to the sauce.
Serve over rice or spaghetti or as a meatball sandwich.
