Peppermint Chocolate Cheesecake

1 cheesecake
20 Oreo cookies-crumbled
1/3 cup melted butter

Chocolate cream Cheese Layer:
1 1/2 lbs softened cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream cheese
1/3 cup cocoa
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
peppermint oil to taste
1 tablespoon brandy-optional

Sour Cream Layer:
2 cups sour cream
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix together cookies and melted butter. Press into 9" springform pan. bake 5 minutues.

In a large bowl mix cream cheese and sour cream for at least one minute. Add sugar, cocoa, mixing well. Add eggs, one at a time. Mix well. Add flavorings and adjust peppermint oil. Pour into pan and bake 30-40 minutes until center is just set. Let stand for one hour.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix sour cream, sugar and vanilla. Pour over chocolate cream cheeselayer. Smooth on top and bake for 5 minutes.
Cool to room temperature, cover and refrigerate overnight before serving. Remove from pan and garnish with candy canes.
