Serves 6
2 lbs. ground chuck
2 cans Ranch Style beans
2 cans water
1 large onion, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
2 to 4 Tablespoons chili powder
salt & pepper to taste
Brown meat in skillet. While meat is browning put beans,water,onion, garlic powder, chili powder and salt & pepper in a Dutch oven. After meat is browned, drain off excess fat and add to Dutch oven. Cook on medium heat for 30 to 45 minutes. Yield: 6 servings.
