1 1/2 pounds 96% fat-free ground beef1/3 cup finely chopped onion 1/3 cup fine dry bread crumbs 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 egg, slightly beaten 1/2 cup grape jelly 3/4 cup chili sauce 3 medium bell peppers (any color), cut into 1-inch pieces
1. Preheat oven to 375º F. 2. Combine first 6 ingredients (ground beef, onion, bread crumbs, garlic salt, pepper and egg) in a large mixing bowl. Shape into 60 1-inch meatballs. Place on a baking pan. Cook 25-30 minutes or until meatballs are only slightly pink in the center. 3. Place jelly and chili sauce in a 3-quart microwave safe casserole dish. Microwave on high 4-5 minutes or until boiling, stirring once halfway through cooking. Add meatballs and bell peppers, stirring until coated. Heat an additional 3-4 minutes. Serve warm.
