For many of us who survived the ice storm, life is probably getting back to normal, but if you can imagine, some people still do not have electricity.  News On 6 anchor Jennifer Loren reports for those people, it's day 15 without power, but more importantly it's Christmas Eve without power.

"It's devastating, it's been devastating, you know, on top of everything else that's going on in my life right now," said Roberta Kirberger.

Roberta Kirberger has health problems, recently she says, she's started having money problems.  For the last 15 days, she's had no electricity.

"And it gets so cold at night, you know, and I can't get up and do anything. I just got to stay under the covers. There's no food," said Kirberger.

Kirberger's power went out with the rest of her neighbors more than two weeks ago, but they've all had their power restored.

"And then this is the power line that was hooked to my house," said Kirberger.

Kirberger's weather head needs to be repaired before PSO can turn her lights back on.  She says she filled out the city's paperwork for an electrician on December 12th, but hasn't heard from anyone since.

Roberta called the Operation Power Up Hotline.

"The day I signed this was 12/12 and it's Christmas Eve and I have no electricity," said Kirberger on the phone.

They told her they would put her on the list for an electrician, but they couldn't tell her when they would get to her house.

"Ok, you have no info but here's the info you have," said Kirberger with a laugh.

She says she's thankful for the things she does have, but she wishes she had lights this Christmas Eve.

PSO says the only people without power are people like Kirberger who have damaged weather heads and electric boxes.  They don't have an estimate of how many people that may be.
