Motorists using U.S. Highway 169 in Tulsa during non-rush hours, are expected to experience delays because of a resurfacing program beginning on Monday.  The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says the surface rehabilitation project will affect northbound and southbound traffic between 21st Street and 51st Street on U.S. 169.

ODOT officials say due to heavy traffic volume between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., all lanes in both directions will be opened to traffic.  Crews will be working on the project around the clock and including weekends.

ODOT says work is expected to be finished by early this summer.
