ANADARKO, Okla. (AP) -- Authorities say they have captured two inmates who escaped from the Caddo County Courthouse and embarked on a multi-county crime spree.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Kera Philippi says 26-year-old Lewis Peteet was captured by authorities in Texas around midnight Sunday night.

Philippi says 28-year-old Eli Dominique Edwards was caught Monday evening in Wheeler, Texas, in the eastern Texas Panhandle.

The two are suspected in the kidnapping of a Gracemont woman who was later found safe in Wheeler.

Philippi says Jamie Allen was locked inside the trunk of her car, but managed to escape and flag down a motorist.

The two men were inside a judge's chambers at the courthouse after attending a church service just after noon Sunday when they pushed out a window and escaped on foot.

Philippi says the two men stole three different cars within 30 minutes, including a carjacking at gunpoint south of Apache.
