State gasoline prices at 5-month high

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- AAA officials say Oklahoma's average price for a gallon of gas hasn't been this high since mid-October 2005.

The average price at stations across Oklahoma is $2.34 a gallon.

Officials say the national average is $2.43 a gallon, which is 16 cents higher than a month ago and 37 cents higher than a year ago.

Ten states have cheaper gas than Oklahoma, including Delaware and New Jersey.

The highest gas prices can be found in Hawaii, where gas is $2.78 a gallon.
