OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A Norman man is donating $1-million to the University of Oklahoma's College of Engineering.

Michael Miller is making the donation in the name of his father, Frank Miller.

Both Michael and Frank Miller are graduates of the OU College of Engineering.

The money will be used for construction of the Engineering Practice Facility's Practice Field and the field will be named in honor of Frank Miller.

The facility will be a two-story, 40,000 square foot building where students can design and build projects.

Construction is to begin in May.
