THACKERVILLE, Okla. (AP) Oklahoma Highway Patrol dive teams have recovered a body discovered in the Red River in Love County.

OHP Trooper Kera Philippi says the body of a 44-year-old man from Texas was pulled out of the river around 5 PM yesterday.

The patrol was notified about the body shortly before 9AM Sunday by the Love County Sheriff's office. The body was discovered near the Red River Bridge on Interstate 35 near the Texas-Oklahoma border.

Philippi says the body will be transported to the medical examiner's office to determine a cause of death.
