The transition is underway from the administration of Tulsa Mayor Bill LaFortune to Mayor-elect Kathy Taylor.
Wednesday, the mayor-elect went floor by floor in city hall, meeting employees. She made it all the way up to the top floor and the mayor's office.
News on 6 reporter Emory Brian says LaFortune's staff has already made some temporary office space for her, as they prepare to move out of City Hall.
LaFortune’s chief of staff, Clay Bird: "And that's one thing we're working on and will be the rest of the week, to get this office ready, to have it the way she wants it, so she can get started in her administration."
The new mayor and city council will take the oath of office Monday.
