Dustin man accused of attacking wife at Muskogee mall

MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) -- A Dustin man is accused of attacking his wife with a screwdriver outside a mall at Muskogee.

Police say Joseph Johnson is jailed on a complaint of assault with a deadly weapon for stabbing Patricia Johnson in the face.

Police say two witnesses were able to restrain and hold Joseph Johnson after the attack Thursday afternoon.

Patricia Johnson is hospitalized in good condition at Muskogee Regional Medical Center. Joseph Johnson was taken to the Muskogee County Jail.
