Some Tulsa students got a special music lesson Monday.

African drum teacher Arthur Thomas spent the day at Franklin Youth Academy. Thomas is helping teach the students the art of music, African drumming, and the processes of recording an album.

Thomas' visit was made possible by the Tulsa Arts and Humanities Council.
