Stolen video camera leads to sex charges against owner

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- An Oklahoma City man whose video camera was stolen was charged today with 16 sex crimes because of what was found on the videos.

Kenny Taghizadeh faces ten counts of rape, four counts of causing a minor to take part in pornography and two counts of showing obscene materials to a minor.

The victim's grandmother -- Betty Holden -- is charged with one count of permitting sexual abuse.

Both face up to life in prison if convicted.

A police report says the girl told detectives she and Taghizadeh had sex from the time she was 9 until she 113 when she ran away from her grandmother.

Taghizadeh's video camera was taken by two boys at an Oklahoma City mall. One of the boys later gave the camera to his mother after watching the tape and seeing a man having sex with a young female.

The video also includes a recording of a car and the car's license plate, which helped lead police to Taghizadeh.
