LAWTON, Okla. (AP) -- Lawton police say four suspects are in custody in the February shooting death of a Minnesota National Guardsman who was training in Oklahoma.

Robert Hayes Junior of Marshall, Minnesota, was killed February 25th in Lawton during a robbery attempt. The four suspects are expected to be charged today.

Lawton Police Captain John DeBoard says two of the four have felony records and are known members of the Crips street gang.

Lawton Police Chief Ronnie Smith Senior identifies three of those arrested last weekend as 19-year-old Derrick Maurice Koonce, whom Smith said police think was the shooter; 28-year-old Shamika Shimira Wilson and 18-year-old Anika Getter.
