The state Medical Examiner has positively identified a victim in a gruesome double murder in Creek County.

The burned body of Cassandra Morris was found in her torched home near Bristow, late Friday night. Authorities say Morris died from a gunshot wound to the head and neck before the fire burned her home.

It's believed her neighbor; Kenneth Taylor tried to check on a disturbance at her home when he was shot twice in his driveway.

No one has been arrested.
