President Bush to Speak at OSU's graduation in Stillwater next month

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- The White House announces that President Bush will deliver the address at Oklahoma State University's upcoming commencement ceremony.

The ceremony will be May 6th at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater and university spokesman Gary Shutt says plans are for it to be open to the public.

Bush will be the third sitting president to speak at an OSU graduation.

His father, George H-W Bush, spoke at OSU's centennial commencement ceremony in 1990 and Richard Nixon spoke to graduates there in 1974.

OSU is one of four colleges this year at which Bush will deliver the commencement address. The others are Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, the US Military Academy in West Point, New York, and the US Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York.
