Driver killed when tractor-trailer overturns

WAGONER, Okla. (AP) -- A truck driver from Tahlequah has died after his tractor-trailer overturned Monday on state Highway 51 in Wagoner County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 55-year-old Charles Locust was killed when his tractor-trailer ran off the road shortly before 8:30 AM. The patrol says Locust overcorrected and the truck overturned three miles east of Wagoner.

Locust was thrown from the truck and pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers says he was not wearing a seat belt.
