An Oklahoma soldier is being called a hero.

Private Joshua Stein of Perkins was critically injured when the tank he was driving hit a roadside bomb in Iraq. On fire, and trapped, Stein was able to maneuver the tank to allow his fellow soldiers to escape. He's seriously burned, has two broken arms and lost his legs.

Devastated by his injuries, his family is grateful he's alive, and is proud of what he did. Pat Leading Fox: “the first thing he asked was how was the rest of the guys, did they make it. Are they all right, kinda shows you what kind of heart he has.”

The 22-year-old is in a hospital in Germany. He should be transferred to a Texas hospital next week.
