Bill would require electronic filing of campaign finances

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Electoral candidates could be given a two-year reprieve from filing electronic reports with the State Ethics Commission.

Senate Bill 1815 would extend the deadline for campaigns to file electronic reports with the state Ethics Commission to make all campaign finance reports public by scanning them and placing them online.

The bill passed 93-0 Thursday and now returns to the state Senate.
