The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office push to maintain a national stamp of approval got some good news on Wednesday.

The sheriff's office passed the inspection by The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies.

The inspection took place last week.

The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office was the first department in the state to gain accreditation in 1997.

The office had to meet more than 400 standards.
