Fugitive Wanted In Washington State Arrested In Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A 46-year-old man wanted on a warrant for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution in Washington has been arrested in Oklahoma.

The FBI says Steven Price Unruh was wanted in connection with a violent home invasion robbery of an elderly couple in Spokane, Washington, on May 8th, 2005.

The FBI says based on a tip, Unruh was located as he was playing in a band near the intersection of Highways 66 and 33 in Sapulpa.

Unruh was arrested by the FBI, the Sapulpa Police Department and the Creek County Sheriff's Office. The arrest was announced last night.

Unruh also was charged with possession of a controlled and dangerous substance based on items found on his person.
