The latest on a man found dead inside his North Tulsa home.
Police are investigating 68-year old Alonzo Tibbs' death as a homicide.
The man was found in his home near 46th Street North and Hartford. Police say Alonzo Tibbs' girlfriend found his body Wednesday night. Tibbs was lying on the bedroom floor near a broken window with apparent head wounds.
Tibbs' family is in shock. His son told The News On 6 his father never had any problems living in the neighborhood.
"He was a likeable person in the neighborhood. He's recovering from a knee surgery, he's retired, he's just a good old guy," said Larry Tibbs/Victim's Son.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death. Police say there's enough suspicion to treat the investigation as a homicide.
