TULSA, Okla. (AP) Ian Stewart hit the game-winning homer and Tulsa pitchers allowed just five hits in a 2-to-1 win over Frisco in Texas League play.
Frisco was down 1-to-0 in the fourth inning when Kevin Richardson homered to tie the game Tuesday night.
Both teams went scoreless until the bottom of the ninth, when Stewart hit a home run to left field for the Drillers.
Stewart finished 1-for-2 and Jud Thigpen was 1-for-3 with one RBI, a home run that put Tulsa on top 1-to-nothing in the second inning.
Josh Newman earned the win after pitching hitless, scoreless ball in two innings of relief.
Danny Touchet allowed one hit and the winning run in two innings of relief for the loss.
