Two People Arrested In An Overnight Beating And Carjacking

Two suspects are behind bars following an overnight beating and carjacking.

Tulsa Police say shortly after 12AM Thursday a man was hit with a pipe as he slept in his truck outside the shop where he works at 3rd and Peoria. The victim went to a nearby bar for help and to call police.

A short time later, officers were called to a business at 15th and Utica. They found the victim's truck and the two suspects who'd broken into a building. One man was arrested outside. The other was bitten by a canine officer and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The carjacking victim will be okay.
