Metropolitan College Closes Its Tulsa and Oklahoma City Campuses

Updated:
Many Oklahoma students headed to class Wednesday morning only to find out their college is shutting down.

Metropolitan College is closing its Tulsa and Oklahoma City campuses. The school offers associates and bachelor's degrees in subjects like court reporting, paralegal and medical transcription.

Students close to graduation say if they enroll in another school, it's like starting over. Tenika Crawford: “half the credits are not going to transfer so it's going to be more time that I have to take and get involved to get out of school.”

According to the college's website, there are schools in Albuquerque, Kansas City and Phoenix. No word yet on whether they'll remain open.
