MIDLAND, Texas (AP) _ The Tulsa Drillers rally from a four-run deficit to beat the Midland RockHounds 8-6.
Tulsa trailed 6-2 after five innings last night, but scored three times in the sixth and once each in the final three innings to make a winner of reliever Joshua Newman.
Jim Miller pitched a hitless ninth for Tulsa to pick up his second save of the baseball season.
Joe Koshansky's two-run single in the sixth began the Drillers' rally. Seth Smith added an RBI single in the seventh to tie the game at 6-all.
Koshansky scored the go-ahead run in the eighth on Jud Thigpen's sacrifice fly off Midland reliever Sam Walton.
Jordan Czarniecki drew a bases-loaded walk in the nith, scoring Seth Smith with an insurance run for the Drillers.
