STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Kyle Keller, who has been director of basketball operations at Oklahoma State for the last four years, will become an assistant coach, head coach Sean Sutton said Thursday.
He previously spent a three-year stint as an assistant before taking over the operations job.
``Kyle has played a very instrumental role in the success of our program the last seven years,'' Sutton said.
``He has a great deal of knowledge for the game, a tremendous work ethic and is an excellent recruiter.''
Sean Sutton succeeded his father, Eddie Sutton, as head coach earlier this year.
``It has been a thrill working for both of the Suttons,'' he said. ``I have truly enjoyed my tenure here.''
Keller is a 1990 graduate of Oklahoma State and earned a master's at Louisiana Tech.
He has experience as a head coach at Tyler Junior College and worked as an assistant at Louisiana Tech, Tyler Junior College and Texas-San Antonio.
