A Tulsa man is fed up with violence in his neighborhood.
Charles Dardenne says more needs to be done to get criminals off the streets. About three weeks ago his home, near Knoxville and Haskell, became the target of what he calls a random drive-by shooting.
He says something more needs to be done to make his family actually feel secure again. “I wish there was more police patrols through the neighborhood to keep things like that from happening. Cause there is a lot of gang activity and stuff in this neighborhood."
Beyond his family's lost sense of security, Dardenne is left trying to clean up and pay for the mess left behind. He already works two jobs to pay the bills.
So all of this, he says, will take time, unless Tulsa Police can catch the criminals behind it all.
