OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) In the first two days of season-ticket availability, the New Orleans Hornets received commitments for 5,000 season tickets to the 35 games scheduled in Oklahoma city.
The Hornets took deposits of $200 toward the price of season tickets. Fans received a priority number, and the team planned to allow the fans to choose their seats at an open house.
Individual game tickets have not gone on sale.
The team announced Wednesday it would play 35 of its 41 home games in Oklahoma City because of the devastation inflicted on its home city during Hurricane Katrina.
