T-Mobile Forms Partnership With NBA

NEW YORK (AP) _ T-Mobile USA Inc., the wireless unit of Deutsche Telekom AG, said Monday that it entered a multiyear marketing partnership with the National Basketball Association and the WNBA.

Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.

Under the partnership, T-Mobile will become the official wireless service of the NBA and WNBA, and will have a visible media presence during games and sponsor several events during the year. T-Mobile will also provide its customers with special content on their phone such as balloting and voting options for NBA players, news and statistics.
