Two men pulled an unconscious driver out of his burning truck last Saturday in Broken Arrow. It happened at the intersection of 91st and Garnett.

The truck sheared off a pole and burst into flames. Two drivers on the scene reached in and pulled out the driver, who was unconscious, but unhurt.

Jim Butler Jr: "I don't think I did anything other than what anybody should have done. If I was the one in the truck, I would want someone to reach over and open the door and drag me out, so that's what I did for somebody else."

The Broken Arrow Police Department honored the Butler and Danny Forsyth for their rescue during a ceremony Thursday.

The man they pulled out was jailed for drunk driving. He came out of the crash with just a scratch on his chin.
