No one injured when someone fires a gun at a Tulsa home

A Tulsa family woke to quite a scare Monday morning after bullets were fired into their home.

It happened just before f4 AM at a home near Tecumseh and Elgin. Tulsa Police say a mother and her four children were asleep when someone suddenly opened fire on the home.

Tulsa Police Cpl. Brett Bilyeu: "There's actually a round that went through the bedroom where at least one of the children were sleeping. So fortunately, it went high and no one was hurt."

Tulsa Police don't have any suspects at this time.

The family says it has no idea who or why someone would do this.
