Tulsa man charged with manslaughter in deadly traffic accident

A first degree manslaughter charge has been filed against a Tulsa man who drove his car into an apartment this week, killing a man.

Prosecutors believe Joey Keith Smith was drunk when he crashed into the apartment building in east Tulsa early Monday.

Sergio Jaramillo was killed. A woman also in the apartment was knocked across the room by the impact and hospitalized.

Smith was found inside the apartment, sitting on the couch. He remains in the Tulsa County jail.
