One person was hurt after he was hit by a van in downtown Tulsa.

Tulsa Police say the driver was heading south in the 100 block of North Denver when a pedestrian in dark clothes stepped out in front of her.

The victim was taken to St John hospital, but he was alert at the time.

Police say the driver did nothing wrong.
