Some of the nationâ€™s most gifted musicians are headed to Tulsa and Wednesday, the News on 6 got a sneak peak at the talent.

Peter Hamilton won the vocal music area of the Crescendo Music Awards last year. Student musicians just like him will be headed to Tulsa in March for this yearâ€™s competition.

This is the eighth year for the awards and it's all sponsored by the Rotary Club of Tulsa. The final competition includes a public concert, where the students go head to head for cash prizes.

Joseph Bias with the Rotary Club of Tulsa: "We'll have our finalists on stage they're all absolutely phenomenal young people both in piano voice and orchestral instruments."
