TULSA, Okla. (AP) Caleb Green scored 18 points to lead Oral Roberts past Southern Utah 89-57 in a Mid-Continent Conference game.

Larry Owens added 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Golden Eagles, who snapped the Thunderbirds' four-game winning streak Thursday night.

Henry Uhegwu paced Southern Utah with 13 points and Nate Janes contributed 12 points.

Green scored 13 in the first half to help ORU take a 47-20 lead into intermission.

The Thunderbirds opened the second half with a 9-to-2 run to cut their deficit to 51-31, but couldn't get any closer as ORU responded with six straight points, including five by Chris Riouse.

The Golden Eagles outrebounded Southern Utah 44-to-24.

ORU improves to 13-and-9 overall, 8-and-2 in the conference. Southern Utah falls to 7-and-15 overall and 5-and-4 in the conference.
