State alcohol commission investigates supervisor

Updated:
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A state alcohol law enforcement supervisor is under investigation for allegedly teaching at a Bacone College in Muskogee while claiming to be working for the state.

The state Alcoholic Beverage laws Enforcement Commission is investigating agent Mike Easley and whether Easley used his state-owned truck and state-issued Pikepass to pay turnpike fees as he drove to and from the college.

Easley says ABLE officials were notified before he began teaching at Bacone and says he thought it was understood he would be using the state truck.

Officials at Bacone say Easley taught law enforcement related classes on Tuesday and Wednesday nights last semester and was paid 31-hundred dollars. He's also teaching two evening classes this semester.

Easley is the son of state Senator Mary Easley and the brother of Grand River Dam Authority executive and former state Senator Kevin Easley.
